Simple Fun I Spy-Concentration Game Using Cute Buttons


A piece of Cotton twice as wide as your little game board


The fabric will end up being folded over and a tube to insert the cardboard in - after sewing the buttons in place under your felt strips that have been sewn on the front half through the fabric and batting.

Some Felt to cut in strips and sewn on the front of your game

A piece of cardboard for your stiffness

A double piece of quilt batting the size of your game board front



2 of every button to make it available to play concentration

I ended up doing 6 rows so it would be even number of buttons

For Brother and Sister in the backseat of car I did a different one for both Hers-Pink His Green


After Hand sewing the buttons through the front and quilt batting

Clip the felt in flaps so they can be lifted up individually






For age group learning numbers and letters you can either applique-glue fabric, felt, or foam numbers and/ or letters

The cardboard will make it stiff to use on their laps when playing the games with each other

 Making Things that are Easy and Quick Everything I do is not always sewing as you could see from my Polar Fleece edging blog.  Now I am sewing today, but I am planning a room divider.  I really don't lift heavy things, but I have a doorway that is just a hole to under the stairs where I store things.  I want to put a room divider there. A.  I can't find anything I like. B.  They are probably heavy. So  I am going to put random pieces of cardboard together to the size I want and then cover it with Library fabric that looks like books on shelves.  This has been something I have been searching for and have not been able to find for a month or two.  So I decided to make one. Easy Fringe No sew Fleece Blanket Long Pull Through Fringe

  More Intermediate sewing on  https://www.sewmorewithkitty.com This is the method where you slip the fringe through the top of itself.  THIS IS NOT QUICK!. Easy you can do while watching a movie.   I used this template purchased at GSTREETFABRICS   where I work a few days a week.  One piece of patterned fleece one piece of solid fleece the same size and a rotary cutter and this template.  You also need a self-healing matt so you don't cut through to your table or bedspread etc.  You can see here I have a folded cardboard tabletop with a self-healing mat and then the two fabrics I am cutting. First lay your two fabrics on top of each other and make sure they are cut to the same size. Second cut out a five inch square corner on all for corners Cut out the corners out in this case 5 " Cut the Strips  1 1/2 wide or 3 slots in Fringe cutter 5" in Poke a hole with your Seam ripper slightly elongated to allow to pull the corner through.
